Thoughts and Things

I asked Michael once who exactally is "The Family" He said "All the people I meet on the road, the people I travel with, the people I visit, the Saline Valley Family, The Rainbow family and yes my born into family. The rest are just a bunch of assholes."

Here are some Thoughts and Things

from Michael's beautiful family

Christine Says:

There are a lot of sad people out here tonight.

I hope Michael finds a road that suits the bus, where you

never get a flat or break down,

where critters cross the road safely,

where the sun is always shining on the way to a hot spring under a rainbow.

I love that guy and I'll miss him.

Denise: I'm so sorry to hear about Bus MIke's passing.

He was one of the first wonderful individuals I met in Saline Valley. I remember begging him to let me inside his kaleidoscopic bus. Unforgettable. His company was unsurpassed over the years. I truly adored him so very much. Did the Doo Dah parade with Mike and his bus back in 1999.

Wormz Sez:

Rest in peace Bus Mikie. You're on the road again. Cruising some psychedelic brick road to some far out place. I feel so lucky to have had you in my life. I'm equally heartbroken and thankful.

With love to our beautiful brother Bus Mike from The Illuminated Elephants and Old Old Coyotes in HUEHUECOYOTL.

Your brother SVANTE.

Timmy wanted to share a thought that touched him

and reminded him of Michael

Life should NOT be a journey
to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and
well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways, Champagne in
one hand – strawberries in the
other, body thoroughly used up,
totally worn out and screaming
‘WOO HOO – What
a Ride!’” ”
