The Idea behind this pic. At the wheel is me at 16 when I had my first Morris Minor It was a 1959 Traveller. The old man at the rear is me at 75 years. The 1960 Morris is my third one. This is just a picture I always wanted to create. This project is quite an undertaking at this age. I hope I get enough finished to have someone else carry on with it.

2021 was the Covid Pandemic. This was a good time to restart my Morris Project. Most of the items below were done at that time.

Another Delay

May 12th 2022 I was pushing the car into the garage work area to continue the new brakes. I felt a pain in my chest area. That was the moment I new this was a real problem. This had happened before and I was set up for tests (Angiogram). Two days later I had the test and the next day I had a Triple Bypass. Needless to say all car work stopped for the next 10 months. I will get back to it when I can.

Sept 1st 2023: Last month Caden (my grandson from Molly), now 16 this month jioned me in the attempet to finish this never ending story called "The Morris" The idea is to complete it to a decient car to take one's date to his senior prom. The start isn't too exciting. We only worked on it two times this summer. The car now has all new brakes ,lines cylindars shoes and drums. also we did install the engine..
